Using B.Barefoot coffee grounds, you can make a super easy 3-ingredient homemade coffee body scrub - a great way of nourishing for dry skin, with gentle exfoliation, removing dead skin cells. Exfoliating your skin makes it look more lively and rejuvenated.
1/2 cup used coffee grounds
1/4 cup brown sugar or any granulated sugar
1/4 coconut oil
1 tsp. Vanilla extract (optional)
3-4 tablespoons are sufficient for scrubbing your entire body. If you’re acne prone, avoid using coconut oil on your face as it may clog pores. Hemp or Grape-seed Oil can be used as alternatives.
Follow the steps to make your own body scrub at home.
Take the used coffee grounds in a container, pour in the coconut oil and sugar and mix well. It should look like the photo above.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator (to prevent mould growth).
Use within two weeks.
Take about a tablespoon at a time in your palms and rub in circular motions onto your skin. Leave for a couple minutes and rinse thoroughly.
